In Harmony With Horses

Hosting a Clinic

Thank you for your interest in hosting a clinic. The two-day clinics provide participants an opportunity to learn on the ground and under saddle. The mornings are spent experimenting through ground exercises. This would be with or without horses depending on the type of clinic. The afternoons normally consist of group riding sessions to allow for application under saddle.

All of these clinics offer a great opportunity for equestrians of all levels and styles of riding to experience the benefits of Centered Riding and Natural Horsemanship. They are specifically designed to be enjoyable, educational and safe.

Below please find details on what's involved in hosting a clinic. I really try to be flexible and consider each individual's needs. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a clinic.

Facility Requirements

  1. A room or space large enough for up to 15 participants, plus auditors, to sit and move around without horses.
  2. A riding area large enough for groups of 7-8 people to ride at one time.
  3. Horse accommodations for people who may want to trailer in for the clinic.
  4. Optional-Lesson horses for those that may want to lease a horse for the afternoon ride. Please understand that the horses do not work hard in these clinics. The main focus is on the rider, therefore most of the work is done at the walk and some trot. Canter work is up to the discretion of the instructor and each individual rider.
